Two intensive days at the Esperanto Congress and Cultural Center in Fulda: at the CAFM Trade Fair & Congress 2026, KENEXOS® showed how classic CAFM grows into end-to-end Infrastructure Lifecycle Management – with VITRICON® V7 as a fully-fledged CAFM module.

The CAFM Trade Fair & Congress 2026 at the Esperanto Congress and Cultural Center in Fulda is behind us – and we look back on two intensive days full of conversations. The event is one of the most important meeting points for digitalization in facility management in the German-speaking region, and that was tangible at our stand on both days.
At the heart of our appearance was a topic that currently moves the industry more than any other: the path from classic CAFM towards holistic Infrastructure Lifecycle Management. Many operators experience every day that valuable knowledge is lost at the boundaries between planning, construction and operation – and that data has to be captured and maintained several times over.
With VITRICON® V7 we demonstrated in Fulda how this gap can be closed: VITRICON® is now a fully-fledged CAFM module within the KENEXOS® platform. This brings together what has long belonged together professionally – classic CAFM in line with GEFMA 444, mobile FM processes and an end-to-end view of the lifecycle of buildings and technical assets.
The quality of the conversations was consistently high. Again and again the concrete question came up of how operator responsibility, documentation and day-to-day FM work can be mapped digitally with reasonable effort. The topics in particular demand included:
What pleased us most: many conversations were not about individual features, but about the bigger picture. Facility managers, operators and service providers increasingly think across the entire lifecycle – “Build. Operate. One platform.” was, for many visitors, not just a claim but a very concrete expectation of modern software.
We would like to thank everyone who stopped by our stand for the open and intensive exchange. We will gladly continue the conversations we started over the coming weeks – and look forward to taking the next step together, from CAFM towards holistic Infrastructure Lifecycle Management.
